Two injured, one critically, in Kansas City crash with suspected impaired driver

The driver of a Jeep Cherokee suffered critical injuries after being thrown from the compact SUV, while a passenger was also injured in a rollover crash involving a suspected impaired driver Sunday afternoon in Kansas City, according to a police spokesperson.

The crash occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East 43rd Street and The Paseo, Officer Alayna Gonzales with the Kansas City Police Department said.
