Food and beverage website Tasting Table recently chose a Kansas City, Kansas, tortilleria as the state’s best Mexican food place but perhaps it should have picked a restaurant in Topeka, where tasty south-of-the-border cuisine abounds.
Tasting Table recently published a list identifying what it considers to be “the absolute best Mexican restaurant” in each state, with its choice for Kansas being Carniceria y Tortilleria San Antonio in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Capital-Journal suggests Tasting Table could have instead picked one of the following spots identified Feb. 2 by the crowd-sourcing review website Yelp as being Topeka’s seven best Mexican food places.
