KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A trio of Kansas City area men have been indicted by a federal grand jury after receiving nearly $500,000 in fraudulent PPP loans.
Robert Turner, Mark Crosby and Earl Howard were charged in separate indictments returned by a federal grand jury late last week. The indictments, which were unsealed Wednesday, say the men received $440,000 in fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans issued under the CARES Act.
The indictments allege that Turner’s company, Handy Hands Services LLC, Crosby’s Crosby Auto LLc and MSC & Sons Trucking LLC, and Howard’s Turn 2 LLC, each submitted fraudulent PPP loan applications…
