A former Emporia woman has been missing for nearly a week, according to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department.
KCPD says Monique “Twin” Brooks was reported missing Monday and there is an active investigation underway to find her. Information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says Brooks, a black woman, is 46 years old, 5-foot-6, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes — but information provided by KCPD through MSHP indicates last contact with Brooks was in May 2025.
