After 20 days of locked doors, the only Kansas City DMV south of the river is back open.
Located off of Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard, between Troost and the Paseo, the Kansas City License Office reopened Jan. 28.
The DMV closed Jan. 9 when it was left without a contractor to issue license plates, drivers licenses and ID cards. The new contractor, Paul J. Wrabec Company Inc., runs DMVs in Independence, Excelsior Springs, Sugar Creek, Platte City and Warrensburg…
