KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City has officially banned synthetic kratom products and tightened restrictions on natural kratom sales in a unanimous City Council vote aimed at curbing what officials call dangerous ‘gas station drugs.’
The new regulations prohibit the sale of synthetic kratom to anyone and restrict natural kratom purchases to customers 21 and older.
