A woman reportedly set a small fire at a South Kansas City warehouse previously rumored as a potential ICE detention facility.
The warehouse in question, supposedly owned by Platform Ventures, had tried to sell it to the federal government for use as an ICE detention center. Earlier today, the property owner confirmed the sale to the U.S. government is no longer on the table.
Upon arrival, officers say the Kansas City Fire Department noticed the building showed signs of intentional burning. Eyewitnesses reported that an unidentified woman approached the structure, apparently sprayed a substance, and then set the fire. As of Friday morning, the suspect remains “at large.”…
