Meth trafficking ring busted: Kansas City first to be sentenced after 102-lb. seizure

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man has been sentenced following a meth trafficking ring that moved at least 102 lbs. through the metro.

Chaz Hicks, 28, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and was sentenced on Wednesday, Feb. 18, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas announced.

Hicks will spend 200 months – nearly 17 years – in federal prison, according to prosecutors…
