Dog leads KCPD back to home of wandering toddler

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A four-legged hero emerged in Kansas City last week.

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department said officers responded to a call for a wandering barefoot toddler last week. The toddler was found in the street, and while officers were trying to figure out the toddler’s identity and family, a dog kept nudging at the officers.

KCPD said officers followed the dog when it walked away and it led them to a house — the house that was the home of the toddler…
