A Kansas City, Missouri, man who backed his truck into the deck of a private residence has been sentenced in federal court for unlawfully possessing ammunition, according to court records.
David E. Degerald, 65, received a 33-year sentence from U.S. District Judge Beth Phillips after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of ammunition. Federal law prohibits individuals with prior felony convictions from possessing ammunition.
Court documents indicate that on June 26, 2025, at approximately 6:19 p.m., officers with the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to a disturbance at a residence on North Oakley Avenue.
