Fugitive wanted for Denver murder caught in Kansas City traffic stop

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A man wanted for murder in Denver is behind bars in Kansas City, Kansas, after a multi-agency traffic stop.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department says the Special Operations Unit and Violent Crimes Task Force – working alongside the FBI – stopped a vehicle around 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20.

During the stop, law enforcement officials note that Yeanbraiker Yriarte-Valera, 20, was arrested on a first-degree murder charge out of Denver.
