The KCMO City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed city budget for fiscal year 2026-27 beginning May 1 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. February 23 at Ruskin High School, 7000 E. 111th St. Persons should enter the school through the rear entrance.
Those attending will hear the highlights of the proposed budget and have the opportunity to ask questions about it.
Even more importantly, they will be given the opportunity to tell council members and city staff what they feel should be the city’s top funding priorities before the budget is adopted…
