Omaha, Nebraska – Drivers across the central Midwest should prepare now for slick highways by Sunday night as a developing winter system targets Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri with accumulating snow and a rain-snow mix through Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley, there is a 20 to 40 percent probability of impactful winter precipitation from Sunday through Tuesday, with the first round arriving Sunday into Sunday night, March 1st, primarily as snow.
