KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Healing House, a northeast Kansas City nonprofit, is asking the public to donate furniture as it prepares to open two new recovery homes.
The organization, founded and directed by Bobbi Jo Reed, has served more than 17,000 people over 23 years. It currently houses more than 222 adults and around 30 children across 17 homes and 30 apartments in northeast Kansas City.
