Private investigator claims new lead on Prairie Village mom’s disappearance, police not yet informed

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. (KCTV) – A private investigator working the disappearance of Prairie Village mom Angela Green says a phone call he received Saturday night may be a breakthrough in a case that has gone unsolved for more than six years.

But Prairie Village Police say they have no idea what he’s talking about.

Iowa-based PI Steve Ridge doubled his reward to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Angela Green — timing the announcement to coincide with the Feb. 23 premiere of “Looking for Angela,” an episode of the Discovery+ ID series People Magazine Investigates. The documentary examines the case and features interviews with Angela’s daughter, Ellie, and her niece, Michelle Guo.
