Kansas City man gets 10 years for cocaine trafficking

A Kansas City, Missouri, resident has been sentenced in federal court for participating in a cocaine distribution conspiracy and possessing a firearm in connection with drug trafficking activity.

Antoine R. Gillum, 22, of Kansas City, was ordered by U.S. District Judge Greg Kays to serve 10 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole.

According to court records, investigators with the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department encountered Gillum on June 19, 2024, inside a convenience store at a gas station. During the encounter, Gillum discarded a Taurus Model G3 9mm pistol in an aisle between store merchandise.
