Police ID 2 who died after 4-vehicle crash in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY—Two people died in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Monday in Kansas City.

A silver Subaru Forrester driven by 45-year-old Opia L.Muntagim, and a silver Ford Escape were both stopped for the red traffic control signal on the exit ramp from northbound 71 Highway to Meyer Boulevard, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.

A northbound black Ford F150 was traveling on the exit ramp at a high rate of speed. The F150 sideswiped the Escape and struck the rear end of the Subaru.

The F150 pushed the Subaru northbound across the eastbound lanes of Meyer Boulevard, through the center median, and over a concrete wall. As the Subaru was being pushed over the wall, the vehicle overturned and landed in the westbound lanes of Meyer Boulevard…
