INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — City leaders in Independence are beginning to map out how potential new revenue tied to a proposed data center project could be managed and invested back into the community.
“We, as a council want to give a lot of forethought to how we’re going to potentially spend the funds that come to us as a result of the data center,” said City Councilmember Jared Fears.
