Pilot killed when plane operated by Kansas City business crashed at Missouri airport

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A plane operated by a Kansas City company crashed early Tuesday morning, killing the pilot.

Central Air Southwest confirmed it owned the plane that crashed at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield.

“We are aware of the fatal crash involving our plane and pilot, we are working with authorities to figure out the cause. Please respect the privacy of our pilot and their family at this time,” Andrew Towner, President and Director of Operations of Central Air Southwest, said in a statement…
