Unbuckled and injured: KCK woman sues KCATA after wheelchair ejection

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A Kansas City, Kansas, woman is suing KCATA after a driver never buckled her in – and she flew out of her wheelchair, causing serious injury.

Records filed with the Wyandotte County District Court indicate that Geraldine Hopkins filed the lawsuit, naming three defendants: KCATA, the driver and the Board of Commissioners.
