KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Fire Department is investigating after multiple houses were involved in a fire early Wednesday morning on the city’s east side.
According to KCFD, around 3:15 a.m., firefighters were sent to a house fire on Benton Boulevard between 36th and 37th streets.
When responders arrived, fire and smoke were coming from a two story home, positioned very close to the houses next door.
Responders tried to fight the fire inside the house but backed out to fight it from outside due to safety concerns…
