KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A driver is dead after his pickup truck went airborne and flipped on Highway 71 in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Police Department says the crash happened just before 11:45 a.m. on Friday, March 25, near 85th St. and Highway 71.
Officers say they found a beige Chevrolet Silverado that had been traveling north on 71 from Bannister Rd.
Investigators indicate that the driver – for an unknown reason – left the roadway and entered the grassy median just west of the Rock Ridge Quarry…
