At its March 24, 2026 meeting, Kansas City’s Transportation, Infrastructure, and Operations Committee discussed two major public works projects. One ordinance would authorize a $1.1 million design-build contract with Burns & McDonnell for the Northland Transmission, Pumping and Storage project. Another would amend a contract with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. by $542,670 to advance the 31st Street and Van Brunt Boulevard redesign.
