Two motorcyclists ejected from vehicle, seriously hurt in Independence crash

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Two people were seriously hurt after hitting a car and being ejected from their motorcycle on the afternoon of Saturday, March 28.

It happened at around 4:15 p.m. on southbound Noland Road near 45th St. in Independence. A preliminary investigation indicates a Kawasaki motorcycle struck a Chevrolet Tahoe as the Tahoe was making a left turn onto Noland Road from a private drive.

The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the Tahoe, ejecting the driver and passenger. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and was weaving through traffic…
