A Kansas City, Missouri, man has been sentenced in federal court for his role in drug trafficking and unlawful firearm possession.
Brandon R. Haywood, 47, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Greg Kays to 20 years in federal prison without parole after being convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A jury found Haywood guilty of the offenses following a trial in September 2025.
