KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two homes were damaged in a large fire Monday night after the flames from one property spread to a neighboring home in Shawnee, Kansas.
According to the Shawnee, Kansas, Fire Department, at about 11:45 p.m., crews from Shawnee, Lenexa, Overland Park and the Consolidated Fire District No. 2 were called to a fire near West 51st Terrace and Garnett Street on reports of a house fire that spread to another home.
When crews arrived, they reported finding the two homes engulfed in flames.
