Daviess County stop leads to drug charges for two Missouri women

Two women arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Daviess County on the afternoon of March 31, 2026, following a traffic stop, now face multiple charges in that county, according to online court records.

Authorities report that 57-year-old Angela Marie Herman of Independence and 56-year-old Angela Renee Herman of Saint Joseph have each been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia involving a prior drug offense.

In addition to the shared charges, Angela Marie Herman faces several additional allegations. These include misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license, involving a first offense, and failure to register a motor vehicle.
