Kansas City homicide clearance rate soars above national average

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City police reported a 93% clearance rate for homicide cases so far this year, far exceeding the national average of 61%.

The department also reported a 30% drop in homicides compared to this time last year.
