A man is dead after shots were fired during an encounter with several other people Sunday evening in Kansas City’s North Town Fork Creek neighborhood, a police spokesperson said.
Police received numerous calls regarding a shooting about 7:30 p.m. on Easter in the 5700 block of Askew Avenue, said Officer Alayna Gonzalez of the Kansas City Police Department.
