Wally’s—the Home of the Great American Road Trip—broke ground April 2 on its second Missouri location in the Kansas City metropolitan area, Michael Rubenstein, CEO of the St. Louis-based retailer, said in a LinkedIn post on Thursday. He said a grand opening for the Independence, Missouri, store is planned for August 2027.
“Last week was a proud moment for our Wally’s team as we broke ground on Store #4 in Independence, Missouri (KC Metro),” he said on his LinkedIn page.
Currently, Wally’s operates two locations: Pontiac, Illinois, and Fenton, Missouri. The retailer is also set to open its first location in Indiana, which will be the retailer’s third store…
