KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Moderate to heavy rainfall continues to push north of the Kansas City metro into the early afternoon, and we are watching this system closely for flooding concerns.
Behind that wave of rain, it is possible that isolated thunderstorms develop west of I-35. This storm chance greatly depends on how much leftover energy the atmosphere carries, but if isolated storms do develop, then they have the ability to turn strong with all modes of severe weather possible.
