KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just before noon Wednesday in Kansas City.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an International semi-truck, tractor and dump trailer was eastbound on Interstate 670 at Beardsley Road, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina. The semi was stopped in the #2 travel lane due to heavy vehicular congestion ahead. An eastbound Ford Explorer rear-ended the stopped semi truck’s trailer.
