KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A pleasant break from rain continues through Wednesday, but another chance for heavy rain and severe weather is on the way. A First Warn is in place for Thursday as our next storm system moves in with the potential for strong to severe storms.
Tuesday: The Warmest Day of the Week
Tuesday is your day to get outside. High temperatures will climb into the low 80s with plenty of sunshine and a warm southwesterly breeze between 15-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph. It’ll be a dry day for most of the metro, though a few spotty showers and rumbles are possible in northern areas by late afternoon and early evening.
Wednesday: Still Nice, But Cooling Down
Wednesday stays pleasant with more cloud cover moving in. Highs will reach the upper 70s — still comfortable and a bit cooler than Tuesday. It’s another good day to be outside before the weather changes.
