LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) – A man is in custody after fleeing Lee’s Summit police, fighting an officer and hiding in a neighborhood.
Around 10:50 a.m. on Friday, April 24, the Lee’s Summit Police Department says officers tried to stop a vehicle near SW 150 Highway and SW Evergreen Ln. for a traffic violation.
However, investigators add that the driver refused to stop.
Instead, law enforcement officials note that the driver continued to his home near SW Raintree Shore and E. Raintree Dr., where he got out of the vehicle…
