‘Revenge is a dish best served cold’: Merriam man jailed for threatening family over tractor sale

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (KCTV) – A Merriam man is going to jail after a Facebook Marketplace tractor sale turned into threats targeting a family’s children.

Matthew E. Nelson, 50, was sentenced on Wednesday, May 6, to 60 days in jail, followed by 1 year of supervised probation, the Leavenworth County Attorney’s Office announced.
