Police, park rangers shut down Loose Park during bomb threat investigation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City Police responded to a reported bomb threat at Loose Park Saturday afternoon, temporarily closing the park while officers and park rangers investigated.

Police were called to the park near 5200 Wornall Road at about 3:01 p.m., according to officials. Officers worked with Park Rangers, who notified people inside the park while officers helped direct traffic as vehicles exited.
