WWI Museum warns of parking, access changes during World Cup Fan Festival construction

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Heads up if you’re visiting the National WWI Museum and Memorial this week (May 11–17): getting in and around the site will look a little different.

Crews are working on the World Cup 2026 Fan Festival. The Museum and Memorial is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and closed Tuesdays.

The museum says parking is limited, but ADA parking is available first-come, first-served in the West Visitor Lot. A small number of free public parking spots are also available in the West Visitor Lot and along Kessler Road between the Portfolio Building and the West Visitor Lot…
