Vandalism leads to postponed graduation at Kansas City, Kansas, high school

The leaders of Bishop Ward High School postponed graduation ceremonies that were scheduled for this week after vandalism on the school’s campus, according to a statement posted Saturday on the school’s website.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating the crime, which occurred on Thursday evening.

“After consultation with law enforcement, the Bishop Ward Board of Trustees, and the Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, school leadership made the difficult decision to postpone commencement exercises until the investigation has concluded,” school leaders said in a joint statement…
