KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City is preparing for World Cup events and the massive crowds that come with them, but advocates warn large gatherings can also increase the risk of exploitation and human trafficking.

KVC Health Systems is urging families to plan ahead, talk with kids about online safety and know what to do if someone gets separated.
