Stolen Jeep, key fob programmers lead to indictment of Kansas City man

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man is facing charges after a grand jury indicted him on auto theft-related charges following a months-long investigation, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office says.

The Sheriff’s Office notes that Budde E. Salisbury, 41, was indicted on Tuesday, May 12, on charges of aggravated fleeing a stop and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Detectives say the case began on March 12, when they spotted Salisbury driving a stolen Jeep and attempted to pull him over. However, Salisbury sped away.
