Some Kansas cities could be in for a “particularly dangerous situation” as severe thunderstorms potentially pass through the Kansas City area Monday evening .
Forecasters with the National Weather Service predicted storms starting as early as 3 p.m. just west of Topeka. Storms are expected to hit the Kansas City metro around 8 p.m.
