Johnston & Murphy is embarking on opening another retail and factory outlet in the Greater Houston region. According to a recently filed permit, the new footwear store is expected to open in the First Colony Mall at 16535 Southwest Fwy, Space 360.
The permit further details that construction on the new Johnston and Murphy is slated to start next month and wrap up by the end of July. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $583,000 construction project, the new Johnston and Murphy storefront should be open before the end of summer.
The 2,000 square-foot space is getting a host of renovations, including a full electrical remodel of the existing tenant space within the enclosed mall. The brand’s products are currently being sold at the Dillard’s department store inside the mall…
