A Texas homeowner got an unexpected surprise when what appeared to be an Amazon package on his front porch turned out to be a live alligator.
The encounter happened in Fulshear, a rapidly growing Houston-area community in Fort Bend County. According to body-camera footage released by the Fulshear Police Department, the homeowner told responding officers he accidentally bumped the animal with his screen door because he believed it was a package delivery.
Police approached the porch, safely restrained the alligator, and later released it into nearby waters. No injuries were reported…
