Healthy eating has a new home in Missouri City with the opening of Grain & Berry, a fast-casual café known for its açaí bowls, smoothies, fresh juices and other wholesome menu items.
Located at 9010 Sienna Crossing Drive, Suite 250, the restaurant is owned by co-franchisee Uche Jessica Mbaka and her husband, Pearse Mbaka, a chemical engineer, who were inspired to bring the Florida-based brand to Texas after trying it during a trip to Tampa.
“My husband researched the brand, and we flew to Tampa to try it,” Mbaka said. “We loved it and decided it would be great to bring back to Texas.”…
