A cookie-and-soft-serve chain built on 2 a.m. cravings is bringing its late-night menu to Cypress. Midnight Cravingz plans to open a new location at 26321 Northwest Freeway in October, serving warm cookies topped with vanilla soft serve to a stretch of U.S. Highway 290 that recently lost its go-to late-night ice cream spot.
The Cypress storefront will sit in a retail strip center near Fry Road, alongside established neighbors including Shipley Do-Nuts, according to Community Impact. The menu leans into indulgent combinations built for after-hours snacking, including the Dark Knight, which pairs a double chocolate cookie with vanilla soft serve, Nutella, Oreo and chocolate syrup. There’s also the Churro, made with a sugar cookie, vanilla soft serve and cinnamon sugar churro cream, plus the simpler Classic, a chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla soft serve.
Hours will stretch well past typical dessert-shop closing times. The Cypress location is set to run Tuesday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight, per the same report. From a Spring Kitchen to a Statewide Following
Midnight Cravingz was co-founded by brothers Yousif and Yaser El-Samman along with partner Abdulrahman Mostafa, who launched the concept after craving warm, restaurant-style pizookies late at night, according to the Houston Chronicle.
