FULSHEAR, Texas (CW39) — A police chief in a Houston suburb was relieved of duty after allegations of violating policy, including an improper relationship with a lieutenant.
The Fulshear City Council voted unanimously to fire Kenny Seymour as the police chief during Tuesday’s meeting. He has served as the chief for the last 15 years in the quickly growing city in Fort Bend County.
Seymour was under investigation by city officials for allegedly having a decades-long relationship with his lieutenant in the police department. An investigator told city council that the relationship did happen.
