Texas man sentenced to 20–25 years for breaking into Cheyenne woman’s home, terrorizing her with knife

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A 21-year-old Texas man was sentenced to 20–25 years in prison after he admitted to breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s Cheyenne residence, choking her, and terrorizing her with a knife, the Cheyenne Police Department announced Wednesday.

Cash Alan Henderson, from Cypress, Texas, pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping by forcible confinement, aggravated assault and battery, burglary and solicitation to commit a felony. According to a transcript from the change of plea hearing, Henderson had a friend try to contact the victim while he was in jail.
