HOUSTON (KIAH) – A man is in custody a week after Houston police said his dying ex-girlfriend told detectives he shot her. A Harris County magistrate set Algie Washington’s bond at $1 million. He was arrested without incident on Thursday at an apartment complex on the 2500 block of Winrock Street.
