Pastor Joel Osteen says he is devastated about the deadly shooting at his Houston megachurch but grateful — stating that it could have been a lot worse. “We’re devastated, we’ve been here for 65 years and had somebody shooting at our church,” Osteen said. “We don’t understand why these things happen but we know God is in control.”
