Louisiana woman suspected of bank robbery wanted by FBI

( KTAL/KMSS ) – The Federal Bureau of Investigations New Orleans Field Office is searching for a Louisiana woman suspected of taking part in a bank robbery in October 2023.

A wanted alert provided by the FBI alleges that on October 10, 2023, Jazmine Johnnie, 23, allegedly entered a Baton Rouge bank and demanded cash from the tellers while threatening that she had a bomb in her purse and her boyfriend had an AK-47.

Johnnie left the scene in a gray Dodge Challenger with a known amount of U.S. Currency, not disclosed in the wanted alert.

Federal investigators issued a warrant for Johnnie’s arrest on February 28, 2024, in the United States District Court, Middle District of Louisiana, after she was charged with bank robbery.

Johnnie has ties to Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as well as Houston, Texas, and Huntsville, Alabama.
